أولا أهمية الماء
the importance of water
Water is a vital element in our lives. without water, there is no life. It is important in all fields of life. For instance, we can't bear to be thirsty for just a few minutes . How would plants, animals live without water? how would we grow crops, make factories work? Simply with water. And don't forget that the majority of our planet is composed of water!
Even on the political aspect, wars today are started because of water, no longer because of petroleum, this shows the vital side of water.

the use of a dictionary.
Dictionaries are books used as reference to find the meanings of words.
They are important since they are an easy reference to find the definitions of words easily.
the way we should use them is the following:
1. we should resort to the definition of a word in a dictionary as a last solution because the best way to understand a word is to understand it from context.
2. we should see if the difficult word is a verb, a noun, an adverb, an adjective; it means the part of speech
3. we should see the context of the text in which the difficult word is. Why? because one word can have different meanings.
4. And of course, it's better to use a monolingual dictionary, that's to say, an English- English dictionary.
