ان شاء الله دة اول موضوع ليا هنا فى ركن اللغات
>>> قبل كدة نزلت مساعدة فمش تحسب مشاركة بجد
و أتمنى من الله أن الكل يستفيد
و انا كمان استفيد معاكم ان شاء الله

معلش أرغى معاكم شوية الاول

عايزة أعرفكم ان انا مش بيرفكت فى الانجليزى
بل بالعكس انا لسة فى أول الطريق
و نفسسسسى أتقن اللغة
ان شاء الله

وبما انى أجلت شوية انى أخد كورس الانجليزى
فحبيت اشارككم فى الموضوع دة و ندردش فيه مع بعض

من فترة اشتركت على موقع أجنبى تعليمى للغة الانجليزية
جزء منه free و جزئه الاكبر لابد انك تدفعى له
وبصراحة انا بشوف بس عليه الجزء المجانى

كل كم يوم كدة بينزل الموقع مقالات
كل مقالة بيكون لها طبعاً هدف معين
لنقاط معينة و يقدم امثلة لبعض المواقف و العبارات
اللى ممكن نستخدمها فى حياتنا اليومية .. فى الشغل .. فى اى مكان عام
طبعاً على حسب موضوع المقالة
و باسلوب سهل و بكلمات بسيطة

و بما انى كسولة حبتين فقلت انزل الموضوع دة
اهوة انتوا هتكونوا حافز لى انى اتابع الموقع و اتابع المقالات
و ان شاء الله اى مواقف تنزل جديدة هضيفها هنا
مع العلم ان فى بعض العبارات اللى ممكن احذفها
لانها ممكن تكون مش تناسبنا

يلا بقى كفاية كدة رغى أحسن المشرفات يزعلونى منى و يقولوا قلبته دردشة

How to make a complaint politely in English


The airline lost your baggage. The hotel laundry ruined your favorite shirt. The taxi driver overcharged you. When you're abroad, sometimes things go wrong. Now you can do something about it! Use these tips when you want to express an effective complaint in English


No matter how unfair the situation, it's best to phrase your complaint politely. In English, you'll sound more polite if you use indirect language. Here are some examples

I'm sorry to bother you ...

Starting a complaint with "I'm sorry to bother you" puts the listener – who may have heard many complaints that day – at ease. Use this phrase if the situation isn't that serious. For example, "I'm sorry to bother you, but I wanted a baked potato, not fries."



Can you help me with this?

Everyone would much rather be asked to do something than told! So try phrasing your complaint as a request for help: "Can you help me with this? My shirt came back from the laundry missing buttons."



I'm afraid there may be a misunderstanding.

This is a polite way of saying, "Your information is wrong. Please fix it now." You'll most likely use this phrase if you made reservations for a flight, hotel or restaurant, and when you arrive, it's not what you expected. For instance, "I'm afraid there may be a misunderstanding. I requested a non-smoking room."



I understand it's not your fault ...

Often when you make a complaint, you deal with a person who was not directly responsible for the problem. But the problem isn't your fault, either! This phrase is helpful when you need swift action. Tell the person you're dealing with you understand they're not at fault and then directly state the problem: "I understand it's not your fault, but the airline promised they would deliver my baggage yesterday."



Excuse me, but I understood that ...

Using this phrase lets the person know you're well-informed and are suspicious they might be trying to take advantage of you. Don't say, "Hey! You're trying to cheat me!" Instead, start indirectly by stating what you know to be true: "I understood that the taxi ride to the airport was only 25 dollars." Then give them an opportunity to respond.

'Tis the season for holiday gatherings, but are you ready to keep the conversation going in English? As you meet and greet friends, colleagues and new acquaintances, remember that casual conversation topics in your language may not be acceptable in English. Here's a short list of what not to say to avoid insult or embarrassment at any social occasion.

You've put on weight.

Avoid pointing out that someone is fat or making any comments about weight, unless you're trying to be rude. This is often a sensitive issue, and remarks such as "You're getting fat" are incredibly insulting.

Oh you're pregnant!

Unless it's really obvious, make it a point not to bring this up. If you happen to be mistaken, you have managed to let out a big insult.


Your sister is so much prettier than you.

While this may seem like a harmless comment in some cultures, it can hurt the feelings of the person you're talking to. Instead, leave out the comparisons and just mention that their sister is pretty.

That color doesn't suit you.

Negative talk about appearances may ruin someone's evening – especially if they've spent a lot on their outfit. Try making someone's day, instead, by complimenting them on an article of clothing or an accessory you do like!


How much money do you make?

While this isn't insulting, it's too personal and can leave someone in an awkward position. It's not customary in many places to talk about money or salary.

You look sick.

Said bluntly, this can definitely be insulting. If someone really does look like they're not feeling well, you can ask, "Are you feeling ok?"


How old are you?

Age is a sensitive issue for many, and quite a few people are unwilling to reveal theirs. Stay away from asking this question – unless you're chatting with a 6-year-old. They're always happy to share their age

!

The overall message is don't get too personal or be too negative. In social situations, and even all the time, it's wise to follow the instructions of a popular English proverb: "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."

في بعض الاحيان بيعتبروا انه من العيب انك تسأل شخص
عن راتبه (معاشه)
وبيعتبروا انه مش من الاتكيت !
