• 1 ball #01009 Soft Blue (A)
• 1 ball #09131 Blue Bon Bon (B)
Hook & Extras
• Size H/8 (5 mm) hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• 1-1/2 yards snap tape with plastic snaps
• Blunt-end yarn needle
Gauge
• 14 dc and 8 rows = 4 inches (10 cm). Take time to check your gauge.
Stitch Abbreviation
• Dc2tog: (Yo and draw up lp in next st, yo and draw through 2 lps on hook) twice, yo and draw through all lps on hook.
NOTES
Work in Stripe pat (*Work 2 rows A; 2 rows B; rep from * for Stripe pat) throughout. To change colors, work last st to point where 2 lps rem on hook, yo with new color and complete the st, drop old color and cont.
Leg seams are left unsewn and are closed with snaps. Unless otherwise specified, always ch 3 for turning ch and count it as one dc st.
When working even in dc, sk first dc of each row and work last dc of row into 3rd ch of turning ch-3. To inc at beg of row, dc in first dc.
For the Stripe Pattern: *Work 2 rows A; 2 rows B; rep from * for Stripe pat.
Leg Instructions
ONESIE FIRST LEG
With A, ch 29(39). Row 1 (RS): Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each ch across -- 27 dc, including turning ch; ch 3, turn. Row 2: Sk first dc, dc in each dc across. Rows 3-4: Work even in dc. Rows 5-10: Inc 1 st at beg of each row by working in first dc – 33 (43) dc at end of Row 10. Rows 11-14(زيادة4): Cont in Stripe pat, work even in dc. Fasten off and set aside.(18 row)
SECOND LEG
Make as for First Leg. At end of Row 14, change to B, ch 7(10); turn.
Body Instructions
JOIN LEGS
Prepare for next row as foll: place both legs RS up on flat surface, with Second Leg at right. Join a separate strand of B in last dc of Second Leg, ch 4, join with sl st to first dc of First Leg, ch 5. Fasten off. Row 15(18) (RS): Dc in 4th ch from hook and in each of next 3 ch, dc in each dc and ch across -- 80 dc. Rows 16-30: Work even. Rows 31-36: Dec 1 st on each row by working dc2tog over 2nd and 3rd dc of each row -- 74 dc.
RIGHT FRONT
With RS facing, mark first 14 sts for right front, next 7 sts for right armhole, next 32 sts for back, next 7 sts for left armhole; rem 14 sts will be for left front. Rows 37-42: Cont in Strip pat, work even in dc on first 14 sts. Ch 1 to turn at end of Row 42.
SHAPE NECK
Row 43: With next color, sl st across first 4 sts, sl st in next st and work ch 3 for first dc, dc in each st across -- 10 dc. Row 44: Dc across to last 3 dc, work dc2tog over next 2 sts, dc in last dc -- 9 dc. Row 45: Change to next color, sk first dc, work dc2tog over next 2 sts, work across -- 8 dc. Row 46: Work as for Row 44 -- 7 dc. Fasten off.
BACK
With RS facing, sk 7 marked sts for right armhole. Row 37 (RS): Join A in next st with sl st and work ch 3 for first dc, dc in each of next 31 dc -- 32 dc. Rows 38-45: Work even. Row 46: Sk first dc, work across next 6 dc. Fasten off. Sk next 18 sts for back next, sl st in next st and work ch 3, dc in each of rem 6 dc. Fasten off.
LEFT FRONT
With RS facing, sk 7 marked sts for left armhole. Row 37: Join A in next st with sl st and work ch 3 for first dc, dc in each of rem 13 sts. Rows 38-42 (RS): Work even in dc on 14 sts. Row 43: Work across to last 4 sts, leave rem 4 sts unworked -- 10 dc. Row 44: Sk first dc, work dc2tog over next 2 sts, work across -- 9 dc. Row 45: Dc across to last 3 dc, work dc2tog over next 2 sts, dc in last dc -- 8 dc. Row 46: Work as for Row 44 -- 7dc. Fasten off.
Sleeve Instructions (make 2)
With A, ch 5. Row 1: Dc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across -- 23 dc. Rows 2-15: Inc 1 st at beg of each row by working in first dc -- 37 dc at end of Row 15. Row 16: Work even. Fasten off.
Finishing Instructions
Join seams, working sc through both pieces on WS of work. Join shoulders. Set in Sleeves, matching first 1 inch at each side of top Sleeve to one half of skipped armhole sts on body. Join Sleeve seams.
INITIAL EDGING
Rnd 1: Work in sc around, matching color, working sc in each st and 3 sc along edge of every 2-row color stripe, join with sl st to first sc. Rnd 2: With B, ch 1, work sc in each sc around, join with sl st. Fasten off.
Crotch Tab Instructions
Mark center 10 sc on Back at crotch. Row 1: With RS facing, join A with sl st in first marked st, ch 3, dc in each of next 9 sc -- 10 dc. Rows 2-4: Cont in Stripe pat and dec 1 dc on each row by working dc2tog over 2nd and 3rd dc of each row -- 7 dc. Fasten off.
FINAL EDGING
Rnds 1-2: With B, sc in each sc around, working 2 sc in each corner where necessary for work to lie flat. Fasten off.
SNAP TAPE Sew snap tape along each front on inside of work, with Left Front overlapping Right Front. With RS facing, sew male side of snap tape along each inner leg. With WS facing, sew female side of snap tape along leg at each outside edge. With WS facing, sew male side of snap in each corner of Crotch Tab. Close snaps along front and leg. With RS facing, pull Crotch tab to front and fold up. Sew female side of snap to correspond to crotch snaps
