Join Color B with a sl st. Ch 3, holding back last loop, work 3 dc in same st, yo, draw through all 4 loops on hook. (Beginning Puff). Ch 3, sk 1, work *puff. Ch 3, sk next st. Continue from * around. Join with a sl st in top of first puff. 8 puffs.
Round 3:
Sl st in next ch 3 sp, ch 3, work beginning puff, ch 3, puff in same ch 3 sp, ch 3. * In next ch 3 sp work (puff, ch 3, puff). Puff Cluster made. Ch 3. Continue from * around. Join with a sl st in top of first puff. 16 puffs. FO Color B.
Round 4:
Join Color C with a sl st in ch 3 sp between puffs of puff cluster. Work beginning puff. * In next ch 3 sp work 10 yo bullion, ch 1, (15 yo bullion, ch 1) 3 times, 10 yo bullion, ch 1. Work (puff in next ch 3 sp, ch 3) twice. Work puff in next ch 3 sp. Continue from * around. Join with sl st in first puff. FO Color C.
Round 5:
Join Color A with a sl st in center bullion. Ch 1, work 3 sc. *Work (sc in next sp between bullions) twice, sc in sp between bullion and puff, sc in puff, (2 sc in ch 3 sp, sc in puff) twice. Sc in sp between puff and bullion. (Sc in next sp between bullions) twice, 3 sc in center bullion. Continue from * around. Join with a sl st in first sc.
Round 6:
Sl st to center sc. (Ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) for beginning corner. *Dc in next 4 sts. Hdc in 7 sts. Dc in 4 sts. Work corner (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc). Continue from * around.

Round 4:

Join in Color B with a sl st in st to left of corner, sl st loosely across to corner, *sl st in corner (dtrc in ch 3 loop on Round 4) 2 times, sl st in corner, sl st across. Continue from * around. Join with a sl st in first sl st. FO Color B

Join Color A in corner with a sl st, (working between loops 2 dtrc of previous round and working over ch 2 sp of Round 8) ch 4, hdc. Sc across working in same sts as Round 9, 18 sc. Work corner (hdc, ch 2, hdc), sc across, 18 sc. Continue around, join with a sl st. FO Color A

With size E hook and Color A ch 28, dc in 4th ch from hook and across. (26 dc.) Ch 3 (counts as 1 st dc on all following rows), turn.

Row 4:
With Color A dc in next two st. Draw Color B through last st to join, fpdc over 2nd dc in row below. With Color A, dc in next 2 dc, fpdc with Color B over 7th dc in row below (4 dc between fpdc's). Carrying Color B behind work, 4 dc Color A, with Color B work fpdc over 8th dc in row below, cont. in this manner across. End 3 dc with Color A. Ch 3 turn. 34 sts. Work dc in skipped sts and sts that have had fpdc worked over their posts.
Row 5:
With Color A, dc in next two st, *join Color B, (bpdc around fpdc below), twice. Skip 4 sts in front of bpdc's. Join Color A. Dc with Color A in next 4 Color A dc.* Cont. from * to * across, end 3 dc. With Color A ch 3, turn (26 sts).
Row 6:
With Color A, dc in next 2 dc's, *Join in Color B, work fpdc in next two bpdc's. Skipping sts behind fpdc's join Color A, work dc in next 4 Color A sts*. Continue from * to * across, end 3 dc with Color A. Ch 1 turn.

For Heart:
Round 1:
With Color A make a loop, leaving a long tail. Ch 3, 7 dc in loop. Continuing to work in loop, make 1 trc for point, 8 dc, 3 trc, 1 hdc, sl st, 1 hdc, 3 trc. Join with a sl st in top of ch 3. Pull loop closed to leave a 1/2" center.
Round 2:
Ch 1, sc in same st and next 7 sts, in trc work (sc, dc, sc) for point. Work sc in next 8 st. 2 sc in each of next 3 sts. Sl st in next 3 sts, 2 sc in each of next 3 sts. Join with a sl st in first sc.
Round 3:
Ch 1, sc in same st and in next st. Work picot (ch 3, sl st in front loop of st below and parallel loop to left of it), work sc in next 2 sts. Continue from * 11 times more. (12 picots). Work sc in next 2 sts, sl st in next 3 sts, sc in next 2 sts. Work picot, ( sc in next 2 sts , picot) twice. Sl st in first sc. 15 picots. FO leaving a long tail to sew the heart to the completed square below.
12 Inch Square:
Round 1:
Make a loop, ch 3 and work 2 dc, (ch 2, 3 dc) three times, work hdc into top of ch 3.
Round 2:
Ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, ch 1, *in next corner ch 2 sp work ( 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc), ch 1. Continue from * around, ending 3 dc, hdc in top of ch 3.
Round 3:
Ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, ch 1, * 3 dc in next ch 1 sp, ch 1, in corner work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc), ch 1. Continue from * around, ending 3 dc, hdc in top of ch 3.
Round 4-6:
Continue in this manner, increasing 3 dc each round on each side. End Round 6 with ch 2, sl st in top of ch 3. FO Color B.
Round 7:
Join Color A with a sl st in corner, work ch 4, dc. *(In middle dc of 3 dc, work v-stitch. Work v-stitch in next sp). (V-sts). Work corner v-stitch continue from * around, ending 3 dc, ch 2, sl st in third ch of ch 4. Sew Heart to Square. FO Color A.
Round 8:
Work beginning corner (ch 3, dc), work 2 dc in each V st across. Work corner (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc). Continue around, finishing with 2 dc, hdc in top of ch 3.
Rounds 9-12:
Work beginning corner ( ch 3, dc), dc in each st across. Work corner (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc), ending with 2 dc, hdc in top of ch 3.
Finish off and weave in all ends. Center heart on the square and sew on using the tail you left when making the heart. FO end.
With Color A and size F hook, ch 4, join with a sl st.
Round 1:
Ch 1, 16 sc. Join with a sl st. FO Color A
Round 2:
Attach Color C in any st, ch 1, sc in same sp, (ch 11, sk 1, sc in next st.) Continue around, end ch 11, sk 1, sl st in first sc with a sl st in first sc. (eight ch 11 loops).
Round 3:
Ch 1, sc in same st. working in back loops only, sc in next 5 chs, 3 sc in next chain, sc in next 5 chs. Working in both loops, sc in next sc. Working in back loops only, and both loops in sc between triangles, continue around. Join with a sl st in first sc. FO Color C.
Round 4:
With Color A join in sc between triangles, ch 1, sc in same st working in both loops, working in back loops, sc in 6 st., 3 sc in next st, sc in next 6 st. Sc in both loops of next sc. Continue around. Join with a sl st.
Round 5:
Ch 1, sc in sc, working in back loops, only sc in 7 st, 3 sc in next st, sc in 7 st cont. FO Color A
Round 6:
With size F hook join Color B with a sl st in both loops of sc between triangles, ch 1, sc in same st, sc in back loop only of next 8 st, 3 sc in next st, sc in next 8 st, sc in both loops of sc. Continue around. FO Color B.
Round 7:
With right side of square facing up fold triangles over- right over left, working in both loops, With color A join w/sl st in 4th st before corner. Ch 1, and sc in same st. (working on what formerly was backside of work,) and in next 3 st. 3sc in corner, sc in next 4 st. Work next 4 sc in next triangle in same manner, 3 sc in corner, sc in next 4 st. Continue around. Join with a sl st. 8 pointed star. FO Color A
Round 8:
Working in back ridge of each st with Size E, join with Color C in any corner, 3 sc. Work 2 sc, hdc, dc, work dc cl, dc, sl st, ch 3, sk next 5 st, sl st, dc, 2dc cl, dc, hdc, 2sc, 3 sc in corner. continue around. Join w/ sl st. FO Color C
Round 9:
Join Color B with size G hook in both loops, *work 3 sc in corner, sc in next 8 sts, 4 sc in ch 3 sp, sc in next 8sts. Continue from * around.
Finish off and weave in all ends.
