    اكلات بعجينة البف باستري

    Pastry Twists



    Thaw Time : 30 min.
    Prep Time : 20 min.
    Bake Time : 10 min.

    Ingredients: Directions:
    1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm® Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet)

    1 egg

    1 tbsp. water

    Assorted Fillings

    THAW pastry sheet at room temperature 30 min. Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix egg and water.

    UNFOLD pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll into 14" x 10" rectangle. Cut in half lengthwise. Brush both pastry halves with egg mixture. Top 1 rectangle with Filling (see below). Place remaining rectangle over filling-topped rectangle, egg-side down. Roll gently with rolling pin to seal.

    CUT crosswise into 28 (1/2") strips. Twist strips. Place 2" apart on greased baking sheet, pressing down ends. Brush with egg mixture. Bake 10 min. or until golden. Serve warm or at room temperature. Makes 28 twists.

    Assorted Fillings:
    Parmesan Cheese: Mix 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, 1 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley and 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves, crushed.
    Choco-Berry: Spread 2 tbsp. seedless raspberry jam and sprinkle with 1/3 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate pieces.
    Cinnamon-Sugar: Mix 2 tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. ground cinnamon.

    Citrus Fruit Tart



    Thaw Time : 30 min.
    Prep Time : 30 min.
    Bake Time : 15 min.

    Ingredients: Directions:
    1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm® Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet)

    1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened

    1 tbsp. sugar

    2 tbsp. orange juice

    2 tsp. grated orange peel

    2 cups strawberries cut in half

    2 oranges, peeled, cut in half and sliced

    2 kiwis, peeled and sliced

    1/2 cup orange marmalade, warmed

    THAW pastry sheet at room temperature 30 min. Preheat oven to 400°F.

    UNFOLD pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll into 14x10" rectangle and place on baking sheet. Brush edges of rectangle with water. Fold over 1/2" on all sides and press firmly to form rim. Prick pastry thoroughly with fork.

    BAKE 15 min. or until golden. Remove from baking sheet and cool on wire rack.

    MIX cream cheese, sugar, orange juice and orange peel. Spread on pastry. Top with strawberries, oranges and kiwi. Spoon marmalade over fruit. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate up to 4 hr. Cut into 12 rectangles. Serves 12.

    Honey-Mustard Chicken Salad Napoleons



    Thaw Time : 30 min.
    Prep Time : 10 min.
    Bake Time : 15 min.

    Ingredients: Directions:
    1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm® Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet)

    2 cups chopped cooked chicken

    1/2 cup chopped pecans

    4 green onions, sliced

    1/2 small red pepper, chopped (optional)

    1 cup honey mustard salad dressing

    THAW pastry sheet at room temperature 30 min. Preheat oven to 400°F.

    UNFOLD pastry on lightly floured surface. Cut into 3 strips along fold marks. Cut each strip into 2 rectangles. Place 2" apart on baking sheet. Bake 15 min. or until golden. Remove from baking sheet and cool on wire rack.

    TOSS chicken, pecans, onions, pepper and dressing until coated.

    SPLIT pastries into 2 layers, making 12 layers in all. Arrange chicken mixture on 6 bottom layers and top with top layers. Serves 6.

    Franks Under Wraps



    Thaw Time : 30 min.
    Prep Time : 15 min.
    Bake Time : 15 min.

    Ingredients: Directions:
    1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm® Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet)

    1 egg

    1 tbsp. water

    10 frankfurters, cut crosswise into halves

    THAW pastry sheet at room temperature 30 min. Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix egg and water.

    UNFOLD pastry on lightly floured surface. Cut into 20 (1/2") strips. Wrap pastry strips around frankfurters, pressing gently to seal. Place 2" apart on baking sheet. Brush with egg mixture.

    BAKE 15 min. or until golden. Serve with mustard for dipping. Makes 20 appetizers.

    For a Holiday Twist, use 5 frankfurters and cut each into quarters lengthwise, then cut in half crosswise. Twist pastry strips while wrapping around 2 frankfurter pieces. Press gently to seal.

    Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups



    Thaw Time : 30 min.
    Prep Time : 25 min.
    Bake Time : 12 min.

    Ingredients: Directions:
    1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm® Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet)

    6 tbsp. creamy peanut butter

    1 bar (4 oz.) sweet baking chocolate, broken into 18 squares

    2/3 cup mini marshmallows

    THAW pastry sheet at room temperature 30 min. Preheat oven to 400°F.

    UNFOLD pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll into 18x9" rectangle. Cut into 18 (3") squares. Press squares into 3" muffin-pan cups. Place 1 tsp. peanut butter in center of each. Top with 1 square chocolate and 3 marshmallows.

    BAKE 12 min. or until golden. Cool in pan on wire rack 10 min. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack. Makes 18 pastries.

    Easy Fruit Shells



    Prep Time : 20 min.
    Bake Time : 30 min.

    Ingredients: Directions:
    1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm® Frozen Puff Pastry Shells

    1 pkg. (about 3 1/2 oz.) vanilla instant pudding mix

    2 cups milk

    2 cups cut-up fresh fruit (banana, strawberries, grapes)

    Whipped topping OR whipped cream

    BAKE pastry shells according to pkg. directions. Remove from baking sheet and cool on wire rack.

    PREPARE pudding with milk according to pkg. directions.

    SPOON about 1/3 cup pudding into each pastry shell. Top with fruit. Serve with whipped topping. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate up to 4 hr. Serves 6.

    Spinach Triangles



    Thaw Time : 30 min.
    Prep Time : 15 min.
    Bake Time : 20 min.

    Ingredients: Directions:
    1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm® Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (2 sheets)

    3 eggs

    1 tbsp. water

    1/2 cup crumbled feta cheese

    1 pkg. (about 10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained

    1 medium onion, finely chopped

    2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

    THAW pastry sheets at room temperature 30 min. Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix 1 egg and water. Mix remaining eggs, cheese, spinach, onion and parsley.

    UNFOLD pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll each sheet into 12" square and cut each into 16 (3") squares. Place 1 tbsp. spinach mixture in center of each square. Brush edges of squares with egg mixture. Fold squares to form triangles. Press edges to seal. Place 2" apart on baking sheet. Brush with egg mixture.

    BAKE 20 min. or until golden. Serve warm or at room temperature. Makes 32 appetizers.

    Puff Pastry Ice Cream Torte



    Thaw Time : 30 min.
    Prep Time : 20 min.
    Bake Time : 15 min.
    Freeze Time : 2 hr. 10 min.

    Ingredients: Directions:
    1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm® Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet)

    1 cup thick fudge sauce OR hazelnut chocolate spread

    1 cup chocolate ice cream, slightly softened

    1 cup strawberry ice cream, slightly softened

    1 tbsp. apricot jam

    1/2 cup natural sliced almonds, toasted

    THAW pastry sheet at room temperature 30 min. Preheat oven to 400°F.

    UNFOLD pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Roll to 12" x 10" rectangle. Trim edges. Cut rectangle lengthwise into 3 strips. Transfer strips to an ungreased baking sheet.

    BAKE pastry strips 15 min. or until golden. Cool on a wire rack.

    SPREAD 1/4 cup fudge sauce on top side of 2 pastry strips and bottom of 1 (reserve this strip for top of torte). Freeze until firm, about 10 min. Place 1 strip, fudge side up, on serving plate. Spread with chocolate ice cream. Top with another pastry layer, fudge side down. Spread with remaining fudge sauce. Freeze 30 min. Spread with strawberry ice cream. Place remaining pastry layer, fudge side down, on top of torte. Freeze 30 min.

    MICROWAVE jam in cup on HIGH until syrupy, about 20 seconds. Stir. Brush on top of torte and sprinkle immediately with half of the almonds. Press remaining almonds into ice cream. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze torte until firm, about 1 hr. Serves 6.


    Use any two favorite ice cream flavors. If ice cream begins to melt during assembly, freeze until firm.

    Apple Strudel



    Thaw Time : 30 min.
    Prep Time : 30 min.
    Bake Time : 35 min.

    Ingredients: Directions:
    1/2 pkg. Pepperidge Farm® Frozen Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet)

    1 egg

    1 tbsp. water

    2 tbsp. sugar

    1 tbsp. all-purpose flour

    1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

    2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced

    2 tbsp. raisins

    THAW pastry sheet at room temperature 30 min. Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix egg and water. Mix sugar, flour and cinnamon. Add apples and raisins and toss to coat.

    UNFOLD pastry on lightly floured surface. Roll into 16x12" rectangle. With short side facing you, spoon apple mixture on bottom half of pastry to within 1" of edges. Starting at short side, roll up like a jelly roll. Place seam-side down on baking sheet. Tuck ends under to seal. Brush with egg mixture. Cut several 2" long slits 2" apart on top.

    BAKE 35 min. or until golden. Cool on baking sheet on wire rack 30 min. Slice and serve warm. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar if desired. Serves 6.


    Or use 1 can (21 oz.) apple pie filling in place of last 5 ingredients.

    Creamy Shrimp and Scallop Shells



    Prep Time : 30 min.
    Bake Time : 30 min.

    Ingredients: Directions:
    1 pkg. Pepperidge Farm® Frozen Puff Pastry Shells

    2 tbsp. butter OR margarine

    1/2 lb. medium shrimp, shelled and deveined

    1/2 lb. scallops, cut into halves

    2 cups sliced mushrooms

    1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's® Cream of Mushroom OR 98% Fat Free Cream of Mushroom Soup

    1/2 cup milk

    1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

    Chopped fresh parsley

    BAKE pastry shells according to pkg. directions.

    MELT 1 tbsp. butter in skillet. Add shrimp and scallops and cook until shrimp and scallops are done, stirring often. Remove from skillet.

    MELT remaining butter. Add mushrooms and cook until tender and liquid is evaporated.

    ADD soup, milk and cheese. Heat until cheese melts. Return seafood mixture to skillet and heat through. Serve in pastry shells. Garnish with parsley. Serves 6.
